Meet Sharin Foo of The Raveonettes. She has the same surname as me! Lol. She has been on bass, guitar and vocals along with Sune Rose Wagner who's on guitar, instruments and vocals. Band was formed in 2001. Released 3 studio albums so far and an upcoming one this 6th October titled "In and Out of Control".
Sharin's 1/4 Chinese so we probably have the same ancestors, that means we COULD be relatives, since the surname "Foo" is hard to come across. Once a person's surname is "Foo", he's bound to be of Hainanese descend. Unlike other Hainanese surnames like "Lee" which can be Hakka or whatever. Hainan Island is separated from the mainland. My grandfather hailed from Hainan Island and I'm cool about it. Hainan "Dao" is China's Hawaii afterall. Lol.
