Sunday, December 23, 2007 rights..TURKEY!! left on sundae evening to changi int. airport.. we took SQ to dubai (transit for an hour plus..) and flew to turkey from there.. reached istanbul at around 7-8am and boarded the grouptour bus which immediately drove us to a few tourist attractions..we had lunch after that..we headed to different states across the country, arriving from europe to the asia continent and the time passed pretty fast.. with regards to the food..i found it quite nice and of course, no one expects a visitor to adapt to the food immediately..but after 2-3 daes, i had started to like the food they offer in turkey.. they had quite a lot of buffets for us, either buffets or set meals..and the standard of living is lower than singapore but the cost of living is higher than singapore (much higher..lol..seriously) for e.g (2 sets of fish royale from BURGER KING costs us 25USD, appro $32 sing)..i could have eaten at fish & co. at that price..they also have belly dancing there and traditional music..(i bought a Saz and brought it back home!! ^^ it's a turkish traditional instrument and it was just 30mins before we headed to the airport and i spotted a instrument shop) we had REALLY last min shopping at the Grand Bazzar in Istanbul..only 1hr15mins!!! TOO SHORT!! LOL..but we managed to buy a few stuffs..^_* Turkey's a very nice to place to visit, beautiful sights and also fun bcoz i was in a tour group as a plus side.. i guess it'll end my blogging here about my trip so i'll let the photos do the talking!! ^_* THERE'S A LOT OF PHOTOS..I only uploaded like maybe 100 over when i had taken a thousand over..(many repeat shots though coz i wanted to choose the best ones ^^).. Photos from Panasonic Lumix Camera and my Nokia 5700Photos from Canon Digital Camera and Olympus Digital Cameraenjoyed the photos?? LOL *bows* Now comes the videos!! I also had a small jamming session with our turkish tour guide, Birdal Oymak (pronounced Peredhao Oymak)..after checking in the hotel..we played pool for 20YTL(lyra) for an hour..BTW..Turkish Lyra worths more than Singapore Dollars..so pool was about $24..
